I'm all about riding. I have a full schedule of barefoot trimming clients and I trim my own of course. What I want most is for my equine to go barefoot and sound in the mountains. Not just for myself, but for my clients' horses as well.

Although I do rehabilitate horses hooves that have need of that type of trim, I have found that an animal with a natural lifestyle, and who is fully transitioned to barefoot, does well with minimal maintenance trims during the Summer. This gives them better performance in the rock and hard ground that make up the terrain in the area in which I ride. I can save any correction or tweeking on their hooves for Winter when the ground is softer and more forgiving. During the Summer riding season, if I notice that they need extra hoof protection for a certain type of terrain, I use EZ Care hoof boots. The Glove has proven itself to be a wonderful addition to their line of boots that offers ease of use and performance for both my Mules and Horses.
